After studying painting, printmaking, and calligraphy at Guildford School of Art, I broadened the practice into textiles, ceramic, environmental, and digital art; working in a wide range of materials and styles for both public art and privately commissioned pieces.

Nowadays I'm fusing ceramic and glass pieces for mosaics, and often also including reclaimed and found materials into the sculptures and 2 dimensional work... I love the vibrancy that happens when light passes through glass, and the extraordinary richness and variety of textures in something so ordinary as a squashed can on the road.. things abandoned, unvalued, broken, changed.... a metaphor perhaps for survival and re-creation...
